This circuit offers you great views of the faïsses, bancels and accols (terraces, beds and terraced gardens) used to grow grain, chestnut and olive trees, vines, and mulberry trees in the age of sericiculture (silkworm breeding).
Description
- Place de la Mairie - Follow Montachard 0,5 km and continue towards Les Champels 0,7 km.
- Les Champels - Follow Sabatier 0,7 km. Carry on along small roads and paths.
- Sabatier - Follow Luminière 2,1 km (). Turn right on the road and then take a path to your left. Pass through the hamlet of Luminière.
- Luminière - Follow Seyras 0,7 km (). Take the path to the right.
- Seyras - Follow La Rompude 1,8 km.
- La Rompude - Follow Le Clapeyrol 0,6 km. Go down until you get to the Ressaladier stream that you can cross using the “levade” or dyke.
- Le Clapeyrol - Follow Les Poujols 1,8 km.
- Les Poujols - Follow Roumette 0,6 km.
- Roumette - Follow La Fabrique 0,6 km.
- La Fabrique - Follow Vignelongue 0,7 km.
- Vignelongue - Follow Escoufour 1 km.
- Escoufour - Follow Travers de Loutre 1,9 km.
- Travers de Loutre - Follow Haut Montachard 1,1 km to return to the Place de la Mairie in Les Salelles
