As well as exploring the La Beaume Valley and the Prataubérat, this black trail takes you across part of the Tanargue Massif. You’ll need between 5-and-a-half and 7 hours to complete this trail.
This demanding trail that climbs to 1,460m above sea level is only for fit and experienced trail runners. It’s identical to the red trail with an additional 19km including a 500m single-track descent and a 900m single-track climb. It passes through Loubaresse, the Ardeche’s highest village at an altitude of 1,240m.

P – From the car park, follow the special trail Trail signs.
For this circuit, follow the black dots (51) all the way along the trail.

  • Towns crossed : VALGORGE, LOUBARESSE, BORNE, LA SOUCHE, LABOULE, JAUJAC, and ROCLES
